In accordance with the Companies Act, the annual financial statements of a company must be prepared in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standard for Small and Medium sized Entities and these annual financial statements must be independently reviewed by an independent accounting professional.
External Audit Services
The Companies Act prescribes the types of companies that must have their annual financial statements audited. All public companies and certain private companies, as prescribed by the Act, are required to prepare annual financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards, and have them audited.
